"This has been the most
complete shoulder course with very specific and practical
applications I've attended. A great course for those PTs who want
to further their manual skills and gain appreciation of the
cervical, thoracic, & rib influence upon the shoulder.
(The) total package in relation to
shoulder/cervical (spine)." |

repeats of the same old stuff. This course opened more
doors for me." --Joy Rohan, PT, CHT

Hi Michael, I was in your
Phoenix seminar. I've used some techniques on my patients, and I
have to say, they have come in handy. I've had one very complicated
patient that has gone through PT numerous times and was very
skeptical about seeing me. She has tendonitis, is very gaurded.
8/10 pain and has pain with passive motion. I performed the
cervical sets and the distraction with oscillations a few reps of
25 and she gained almost 40 degrees of painfree motion in one
visit. Her pain went down to a 6. And she continues to do so far.
I'm pretty excited about it and she is too. Anyway, I just
wanted to say thanks. |

PT |
"Thank
you for offering such a thorough course!"
---Christa Svienty, PT
"I would never think to treat the shoulder
this way for pain. I look back at some of my patients
and think, "Wow, I could've done this to
him/her. I appreciate all the research both in
orthopedic medicine and learning theory that went into the content
and made up the foundation of the course." ---Beth Kolbe,
PT

"I loved this course!
I can't believe the amount of knowledge I have gained. This
course provided me with many practical approaches that I can begin
putting into my evaluation and treatment session. The handouts
& DVD will allow me to review & practice
techniques." |
| Amy Ulm,
PT |
"I never really understood the
rationale for thoracic mobilization and manipulation...but now I
do. Thanks so much! ---Kristal M., PT
"I will take
everything this course had to offer (as useful in everyday
practice) and would recommend this class to all
therapists!" ---Jessica Bento,
PT

"For anyone who is not confident in
treating the shoulder, I hightly recommend this course. A very
thorough, systematic approach is taught. You should be able to
predict results and acieve improvement in 1-2 treatment
sessions." |
| Tami Domka, MOT,
OTR/L |
"I appreciate the organized
flow of information and thought. Great handouts and
pictures and a good balance of theory and hands-on. Michael
is a very knowledgeable and efffective instructor and clinician.
His course is easy to follow, interesting, and highly applicable to
direct patient care. Thanks Michael ---great
course!" ---Andrea K.,

"Before coming to this course, I was
often overwhelmed with shoulder pain and reluctantly relied on
treating the symptoms instead of addressing the problem areas. (I
now have) greater understanding of possible "causes" of shoulder
parin and how to treat it appropriately. Impressive. Your knowledge
about the shoulder was nicely broken down into various levels to
help me grasp the joint and how to treat. Thank you." |
| Kristi Marks,
PT |
"(I got a) really great working
understanding for use of special tests...with research to support.
Always awesome to have an excellent review of principles" ---Marty
J., PT
"Any
course that I take that stimulates me to want to pick up a book
when I leave is rare---this course did
that for me and helped me to identify where I need to improve.
Thank you for putting you neck out there to teach style,
philosophy, and more importantly, direction to practice. I think
this shepherding at the end of the day will end up moving and
impacting our profession forward ---to the work, the practice, and
how we are valued by the public and medical community.
Thank you for your advocacy." ---Ed Brush, PT,

"Structure, structure, structure.
(This course) provided me with a systematic approach to eval
patients in general. But on a more personal note, it recharged my
respect and pride of my profession.
The exercises and options on manual treatment was very
clever. |
| Mark DeAnda,
PT |
"The repeated motion, cervical manip
and documentation techniques were great new information. All in
all this was a great course. You
make a lot of sense and present very well. I really like the small
things---i.e. "fill in the blanks", which help keep clinician's
focused. It is obvious you have put a great amount of time/effort
into this course. Thank you and let me know about the knee
course---I would take it." ---Cynthia Long, PT
"I
like the patient management part of the course. These
ideas are applicable for any patient type or
problem.
(The) entire
relationship of c-spine with shoulder problems was my "A-ha"
moment. I think of all the patients I have "tried" to
treat before and was unable to help.
If I would have had this info..." ---Andy
Lair, PT
"I feel I can return to the clinic and
put these techniques to work and help my patients and also have a
systematic approach to evaluate the
shoulder."
"I was thoroughly
impressed with the organization and "process mapping"
approach with this course. I feel that a huge impact will be made
in patient outcomes with the techniques I now can put
together. My personal goals have been met and
more (from this course) and I am anxious to apply my
new system to everyday practice. Thank you for everything.
