The next important step is to put plans into action. This is one of those things you learn by default of experience.  

Through the years of my own small businesses, I’ve experienced first hand how well things go according to plan…when I actually had a plan to implement.

I use a very specific type of plan called an Admin Scale. Whenever I develop one, whether it be for one area of my business or the business as a whole, the end result (goal) of the plan usually materializes.

The benefit of the Admin Scale is that it is simple and provides me a step-by-step action plan of taking my thoughts, ideas, and dreams about the business and make them solid (real) in the physical universe by following it, much like one would follow a recipe for a cake.

There are other things that small businesses need such as good policy, ethics, hiring & training practices, financial control, PR, marketing, etc. 

But nothing happens unless a plan is first in place and someone exists who will carry it out responsibly.

To make your business soar, make an intelligent plan, then find someone who will be accountable to seeing the plan through to completion.
